{Friday Five}

Happy Friday,friends!
{insert my Friday dance here!}
Here's what has been on my mind this week!

{one}
Tomorrow is Charlotte's St. Patty's Day bar crawl. There will be lots of green, tons of people, a lot of beer, which all equals a lot of fun! I am so excited to participate in the biggest St. Patty's bar crawl in America! Last year there were over 15,000 people! Be sure to follow me on instagram for fun photos from the day!

I am really starting to see improvement in my running! I've been tracking my runs and setting goals with the Run Keeper app. Is is such a good feeling to see improvement. It also helps that I have a pushing and supportive boyfriend that wants to make this a hobby we can do together! Total this week I've run around seven miles. For many that may not be a big deal, but for me that is! I had to document my runner's high earlier this week when I made it to my favorite bridge!

I have been obsessing over big, bright statement necklaces lately. I really just can't get enough! These are my favorites that I've come across recently!

I'm linking up with the fabulous AMV from {long distance loving} for Friday Fancies! This is one linkup I look forward to every week and this week was no exception! Holidays to me are an excuse to dress up using the colors of the holiday! if I weren't wearing a t-shirt for the bar crawl all day Saturday I would be wearing a fun little outfit like this! I am trying to get as much wear out of my leather leggings before it's time to put them away for the season!

Charlie update: Y'all are fooled by his cuteness on Instagram and my blog...but let me tell you, during his 11p.m and 3:30 a.m. shenanigans he is anything but cute! He is a sweet angel until it comes time for me to go to bed (when I shut him out of my room) and then he instantly turns into the devil cat. Attempting to climb my curtains, eating my Williams Sonoma kitchen towels, and trying his best to open my cabinet to get to his treats. After a long day earlier this week he was really testing my patience, I finally squirted him like crazy with his "bad cat" water bottle and he was silent all night. But being the loving cat mom that I am (HA!) I felt bad this morning and gave him a lot of kisses :)
.....because how can I actually be mad at that sweet face?!?!? (until tonight...)

have a happy weekend, everyone!

  1. Love your five! Have fun this weekend! Good job on improving in your running. I have been getting into a tight workout schedule, and it has been such a great feeling. I too am loving big and bold statement necklaces. JCrew most definitely has my current favorite.

  12. As annoying as it is, I am so happy to see that someone else has cat issues! We lock our cats out of our bedroom each night as well, that's when their party starts. We had to install child locks on the cabinets b/c they learned to open them. They chew boxes, bags of left out food, etc. And drag the collapsible laundry baskets around and take out the clothes, I'll find them in random places. One of them just learned he loved pony tail holders, when he can't find those in the bathroom, he has moved to make up stuff. I'm still missing my eye lash curler and had to buy another. Hoping when they 'grow up' this will end! I even have one on Prozac!!
