2014 Blogging Goals

Happy 2014, everyone! I hope y'all had a fun & safe time ringing in the new year! I sure did. Around this time each year I begin reflecting on the past 365 days. What was good, what was bad, and what could use improvement. 2013 for me was one of the best years. It included a lot of changes, but most of them were positive and uplifting ones. I honestly cannot complain about the past year. I was blessed beyond measure. I was certainly blessed on this blog. I have been writing here for almost three years, and each year it has become more and more of a happy place for me to come and share my life and my fashion with y'all.

In 2014 I want to devote even more of my time to this blog and my readers. I want to open up and share more of my life with you! While I will be the first to admit I am absolutely terrible at making goals and sticking to them, I have a list of Blogging goals that I am determined to stick to this year to really make 2014 great here! Stay tuned for some fun posts and a new look coming pretty soon to start Life with Emily off right for 2014! I'm ready for some good change in 2014, how about you?

What are some of your New Years Resolutions? (Blogging or otherwise?)

  1. I love your list! It's totally inspired me to write my own. I definitely want to get more organized and make more connections and friendships too. :)

Hope you have a great New Year! I've so enjoyed reading your blog in the last year.

    Danielle xx

  2. Love your goals! I too am looking to learn more about the blogging business and hope to attend my first blogger conference this year! Any recommendations on conferences?

    xoxo Holly

  3. I think attending a conference would be so much fun. -Hanna Marie

  4. Love your list! One of my list is to learn how to use a DSLR camera...also to actually buy one! haha! :)

  5. Thanks for sharing your goals! It's fun to read what's on your mind in the background of all the lovely outfits. I would love to hear back in the future what books you read about blogging and which ones you liked or didn't
    On the Daily Express.

  6. Totally agree with you on the camera resolution!

  7. I love your list! Whenever the day comes I get a DSLR I would love to take a class as well :)

  8. Great list! Looking forward to getting to know you even more!

  9. I am new to reading your blog, and I love how excited and dedicated you are about it! I hope you reach all your goals in this New Year!

  10. This is such a great idea for a blogging resolution. One of my goals is to comment more on the blogs I like reading which is why I'm no longer lurking. Happy New Year :)

  11. I love these, i'm totally with you in terms of your blogging goals. I hope to do the same! I have a few NYR's this year some of which are to learn the basics of coding, learn 1 new recipe each month, and to join a book club!

    Happy New Year!

  12. Love these goals!! I definitely want to grow my blog in 2014, learn more about the business, build more relationships and I really want to attend a blog conference! Also learn to use my remote I just got for my camera. I started making an editorial calendar last year and it has been such a help! I just made a blog book that I am going to do a how to next week on my blog and that has made a big difference for me as well as far as organization (another blog goal - stay more organized).

  13. Great goals for a great blog! Sounds like the perfect details for a perfect blog - best of luck to you!

    -Jenny, DaisyGem

  14. I love these blogging goals!! I am definitely going to steal your idea, and set some blogging goals for myself. Thanks for sharing, I always love reading your posts!

  15. We would love to have you at Blogging Concentrated. We're working on a North Carolina event now. . . but we've got lots of fun places you could travel to.
