Cruise Recap: Days 1-2

Hellllo everyone! I am finally back after what feels like being gone forever! My google reader is so full and I can’t wait to catch up with all of you. My cruise was absolutely ah-maz-ing! I couldn’t have asked for a better time or better weather. I have so many photos and can’t wait to share them all with everyone!

Since I had so many great experiences I thought I would break them down into days for you! On Christmas day my family loaded up the car and headed toward Ft. Lauderdale, our port of call. It was a long 12 hour drive. Side note, we got to eat at Waffle House twice on the way down because nothing else was open….lucky us.
We got on the boat around lunchtime on the 26th and it was absolutely beautiful. We spent the afternoon unpacking and touring the ship. The 27th was a day at sea so we spent the day enjoying the boat, soaking up the sun and getting ready for our first formal night!

first drink on the ship!
first sunset…so beautiful

first sunrise…yes, I was awake for this at 6am!

I got a little too much sun the first day 😉

reading + sun= nothing better

formal night # 1

Don’t forget to check back for day 3 tomorrow, it deserves a post
itself it was so great!
