It seems like it was just yesterday that I was packing up all of my belongings from my home and moving to my little college town. I was so excited to be going to college, but had no idea what college had in store for me. I’m in a similar emotional state now, fours years later. I was excited for a new chapter in my life, but extremely nervous as I didn’t know what was to come.
Over the past four years I have made so many strides in life. I have grown into someone that I am proud to be. I have learned so much about myself. I have become “me.” I have found the best group of friends that I can count on and that will keep me laughing until 4 a.m. I have found what I want to do with my life in the “real world” and I have found so much to be happy with in life.
I wasn’t kidding when I said I was packing up ALL my things to head to college. I was “that” girl when I came to school who brought way too much of everything. Whoops, I guess I should have prepared better and saved my parents many trips up the seven flights of stairs in Cone.
Since coming to college I have made a great group of friends, some old and some new. I have been great friends with the same girls since freshmen year for the most part. I love this group because we are all so diverse and different in many ways, but we can all come together and have the BEST time. I can truly say these girls have helped me 100% get through college. I am so grateful for the friendships that I have made and can’t wait to see what we all accomplish after graduation!

If there is one thing I will miss most about college it would definitely be being so close to all of these girls. We are all so close together now and after graduation we may all be a plane ride away….
I can't believe it's been four years since high school… I have one more semester, but my roommate just packed everything up and it was so sad.
Good luck with everything post-college!
Leaving friends behind is the worst part! I'm graduating next year and I'm already getting anxiety about it!
That has been the absolute hardest thing for me since graduation. There are about 12 of us who are best friends. I hadn't seen them since Homecoming in October until 2 weeks ago! We are all in different places! 1 in NY, 2 in DC, 1 in FL, and the rest in SC! It is so hard to be away from everyone, but when you get together it is like you never left!!! Happy Graduation week!
congrats on graduating and YES the one thing i miss the most is being so far away from my gals…but your right they are only a plane ride…car ride…or even G+ chats screen away!

What a cute post! I feel the same way, I am excited to be entering the real world, but a little nervous too! Good luck with graduation and wrapping things up…it feels good to be done!
This post made me teary eyed!! Nurture these friendships in the weeks, months, and years ahead!!
