It is hard to believe that we are about to kick off another year! I can’t decide if 2013 flew by or if it seemed like it lasted a lifetime. What I do know is that this year was a great one both on my blog and off. I devoted a large portion of myself to this blog, made goals (and tried my best to stick to them), met an amazing set of friends, and had opportunities here that I never imagined I could have just three years ago when this blog began. In life, I became a little more independent as I lived on my own, made a big move with my boyfriend, grew in my job, and adopted a puppy. 2013 was a year of learning, experiencing, and testing for me. I learned so much about people, this blog, and life in general. I got to experience different parts of the country, attend a blog conference and meet new friends for the first time. My patience and my emotions were tested over the past year, no doubt making me stronger in the long run.
2013 was a great year for Life with Emily and it’s safe to say I owe a huge thank you to my readers for coming here daily to partake in my life and fashion journey! Your comments, emails, and tweets really mean so much to me! I am thankful to have had the opportunity this year to grow friendships with so many of you & I look forward to continuing that into the New Year!
