Can y’all believe it’s February? I know we’ve barely gotten 2014 under our belt, but it has seemed to fly by already! This month is all about l-o-v-e and that makes me so happy. Whether it be your family, your significant other, or your best girlfriends, February is the month to show those around you just how much you love them. Two weekends ago I was in Dallas, TX hanging out with some fabulous ladies and I had the opportunity to meet and hang out with some other wonderful bloggers whom I felt like I had known for years! We are all bloggers, so we immediately felt the sense of community!
One of my favorite things about blogging is the friendships I have gained and the sense of community that I constantly feel! I feel like I not only gained quality friendships while in Dallas with new ladies, but the sense of community was flowing through us all! It was great to be surrounded by girls who just “understood” you, who you could feel encouraged and inspired by, and knew that at the end of the day you were surrounded by caring friends….who just happened to be bloggers!
Blogging isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. It can be cut throat and competitive to say the least. We all wanted to show that everything doesn’t have to be a competition. You can definitely blog and have great friends in the blog world at the same time. It is so important to have those friends who are passionate about the same thing as you and are there with encouragement, support, and ideas anytime you need them!
This brunch allowed us to get dressed up (like we all love to do), enjoy each others company, and laugh non-stop at all the blogger things that we incur daily! I loved being around these amazing women in Dallas and can’t wait until we reunite again!
