Margarita Moments

Ever have one of those days? Where everything that can go wrong does go wrong or when something so ridiculously embarrassing happens to you that you finally just sit and think to yourself “I need a drink…” Lately, I’ve had quite a few of those situations, that I am now deeming “Margarita Moments”. Those are the times when I can certainly use a margarita to take the edge off!
At least a few times a month I get together with my girl friends to dish on our rough work weeks, boy troubles, and everything else under the sun. We typically end up meeting for happy hour, which inevitably leads to telling hilarious, yet embarrassing stories of one another. Naturally, the stories keep getting better and better as we down our drinks! Those are the kind of days I look forward to. How about you?
Cinco de Mayo is just around the corner, which is another great excuse to get together with friends and share some laughs over drinks! In the summer my go-to drink is a margarita (on the rocks with salt!) so any excuse, especially a holiday, that revolves around that is good in my book! This Cinco de Mayo I plan on celebrating with a Sauza-rita in hand at my favorite Mexican restaurant!
I made a batch of Sauza-ritas earlier this week in preparation from Cinco de Mayo… oh who am I kidding? I really just wanted one, it was Thirsty Thursday after all! Let me just tell y’all, this will 100% be my drink of choice throughout summer. It still has the margarita taste that I love so much, but definitely takes the bitterness out! I could drink this drink all night long (and maybe I did!) I am definitely ready to par-tay for Cinco de Mayo now!
Recipe for the Sauza-rita (recommended with chips and dip!!!)

1 can Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila*

1 bottle light beer

1 can frozen limeade
•   1 can
water

Directions: Pour limeade and beer into a
pitcher with ice. Fill limeade can with Sauza® Blue Silver and pour into
pitcher. Finally, add a can of water, stir and enjoy.
