Printed Midi Dress

Being on the shorter side (5’2″) I swore off the midi trend when it first came out because I thought it could never work on someone of my height. Anytime I was in a store and spotted a midi skirt or dress I would try it on, crossing my fingers that it would work. Well…none of them did. When I spotted this vibrant printed midi dress I decided to give it a go. You never know, right? I’m so glad I took the chance on this midi dress. The colors are so much more vibrant in person and it has pleats at the bottom that make it flow beautifully! I wore this dress out for dinner when we were in Wilmington and ended up getting so many compliments on it. This could easily transition into fall with booties and a denim vest or jacket!

I saw this dress on Instagram last night and loved it…you look gorgeous, the colors are perfectly complementary to your hair and skin tone! Brief aside- I can't believe you are 5'2", I feel like you photograph much taller!

  5. This dress is beautiful! I'm only 5' and most midi dresses fit me like maxi's and I don't have to have them hemmed!

  7. I hear ya about length problems. Maxis end up needing to be hemmed 4" so going for a midi is actually perfect! Beautiful look.

  19. Such a pretty dress! I feel the same way about midi dresses as I am short like that too. Maybe I should try some midi dresses and wear them as maxis!
