Lookbook Live Event with Glamour + GQ

I am finally back from the west coast after a week of conference stuff (and a little fun, too!) I flew back into NC late on Friday night and Saturday morning I hit the road early to SouthPark Mall for an event with Glamour & GQ! A few months ago Glamour emailed me about being the stylist at their Lookbook Live Tour that was going to be stopping in Charlotte at SouthPark Mall (I totally freaked out when I got the email!!) I immediately said yes! The Lookbook Live Tour is an interactive take on fall trends seen in both Glamour and GQ magazines that is happening at 11 malls across the country (look here for mall destinations).
Saturday’s event was so much fun! I spent the day styling customers in the style closet of the Lookbook Lounge with Cortney, meeting some really nice people (and followers, too), and helping host style challenges. It was an incredibly successful event and I was so grateful to be a part of it.  I hope to have more photos to share once the photographers have them back to us!
I wore this outfit to the event and pretty much fell in love with it! Since I had been gone the week prior (plus Bre’s wedding) I hadn’t really thought much about what to wear to the event….which is so not like me! I put this outfit together and it was a total hit!
