If you’re anything like me, the holidays kind of sneak up on you. Now, I realize this sounds a little ridiculous considering Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas all occur at the same time each year, but every single year I feel unprepared! Well this year I have made a vow to be more prepared. I have already made (and purchased) my Thanksgiving meal food that I am making, I have a pretty good idea of the gifts I am going to get everyone, and I even have plans to put up my Christmas tree and decorate earlier this year. (I’m patting myself on the back as I type!) I have also started planning my holiday outfits! I’ve partnered with Sears to share a holiday look and the best Black Friday buys!
In preparation for the gift giving holidays, I am anxiously awaiting the best shopping day of the year, also known as Black Friday. In the past I have not been one to brave the crazy crowds in order to get a camera for $100 or the chance for a 50 inch television for $200, but this year I think I may just join in on the crazy. I have a lot of good gift giving ideas (and a few items I’m wanting to score for myself), a huge family, and a small budget! Black Friday is going to help me out this year, especially since a lot of stores are having sales online, too! Today I am teaming up with Sears to share what you should be buying on the biggest shopping day of the year! Here are the things I have my eye on for Black Friday shopping….
holiday outfits I love clothing and I love holidays, but I do not love outfit planning for holiday parties. It absolutely stresses me out! During Black Friday I am hoping to score some major deals on clothes that can be worn for holiday parties, but that can also continue to be worn afterwards. I found this adorable embellished sweater & skirt from Sears (seriously!!) and think it would be a great holiday outfit. Both pieces are really affordable and can be worn again. I paired it with my new suede heels this time, but think this outfit would be great with black tights and boots too.
electronics These are always the “big ticket” items of Black Friday. I have been borrowing my sister’s Beats by Dre headphones and I’m hoping I can snag a pair for myself and maybe my brother. Another thing on my list? A Bose iPhone speaker.
investment pieces You know those items you always lust after and just know you would get a lot of wear out of….but still can’t quite purchase due to the price? Black Friday is the time that those items are on sale!! Not only are you getting an amazing deal, but you also have a piece (clothing, shoes, handbag, etc) that can stand the test of time. Any pieces you’re looking to add to your closet, be sure to research on Black Friday in order to get the best deal.
What items are you hoping to score for Black Friday?
