Wanderlust…

Every year around this time I get hit with a bad case of wanderlust. I don’t know if it’s the cold weather and the dreary landscape, but I get the sudden urge to go somewhere beautiful. Wanderlust is one of those things that creeps into my subconscious and it simply won’t go away. Whether it be somewhere tropical or the stunning streets of London, I feel the need to travel! To just hop in my car and go! Unfortunately neither a tropical locale nor a trip to London are in the cards right now, so sometimes you have to just improvise. 
Since I felt the need to get away, I headed to our beach house on Thursday for a long weekend away. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. The weather was beautiful (never thought I would see 65 and sunny in January!) and the company was wonderful. I spent the weekend playing on the beach, reading and relaxing, and exploring during the off season! I wore this sweatshirt with distressed denim for a relaxed weekend look.
