Considering my blog’s name is Life With Emily, I figured it’s only fair to myself and to my readers if I communicate and get personal (from time-to-time). I’m so thankful for the unwavering support y’all have given me throughout my blogging years. It’s definitely been a fun, tumultuous, and amazing learning experience. Being able to grow with such great and beautiful supporters has made it that much more worth it!
So, with that being said, it’s time to get a little personal here. As most of y’all know, I was in a long term relationship. But, like every young adult, I have to make decisions that will benefit not only me, but others in the future. I try to be fair to everyone and surround myself with positivity in all aspects of my life, which is why I decided to end my long term relationship a little bit ago. Now, I’m not getting all sappy with you! I’m actually really excited to embark on this new journey in my life. I’ve simply finished one chapter and am happily moving towards my next. Being that I just turned 25 (ah!) I felt it was fair to be honest with not only myself, but with my boyfriend at the time. I knew I didn’t see a future with him….and that’s ok! I wish him all the best. That time in my life allowed me to learn, to grow as a person, and it prepared me for what is to come.
Sometimes we all get caught up in the picturesque life of a blogger. But remember, I also go through trials and tribulations and I struggle with both trivial and larger matters on the daily (whether I choose to show them or not!) But I’m so excited for new doors to open and to really be able to take Life With Emily to the next level as a happier, healthier and more positive person. Now begins the next chapter of Life With Emily…

How 2 Wear It …
Thank you for sharing this with us and I'm happy to read that you were not afraid of being honest, real and figuring out what's the best and most right thing to do when life puts you on the end of one road and you have to make choice on what's next.
Good luck with everything on this new journey, I'm sure that it will be an amazing one.

I love your style! I should make you come style me before we head to SBS! Have a great weekend! xo
Great post, Emily! So excited for what life has planned for you 🙂
I have been following you for a few years (all the way back to when you were posting you OOTD's as selfies in the mirror). It has been so inspiring to see how much you've grown and how successful you've become with you blog. I think it really speaks to your character to let people have a glimpse of life behind the pretty pictures. It just sends a reminder that nobody leads a perfect life and that we all have ups and downs. I know it isn't easy to always be honest with yourself when it means putting yourself through heartache, but you have a whole little community behind you. I'm excited to see where your new chapter takes you! ?
Thanks for sharing – I can imagine how hard it was to end things, but it is important at this stage of our lives to really think about whether or not we could see a future with whomever we're dating. I'm sure it was difficult to share on here as well, so I appreciate your bravery all the way around. Keep being fabulous and keep your chin up, girl!
These outfits are so cute! Thanks for sharing! This new chapter of your life will be fabulous just like you! Kudos to you for being so honest with yourself and taking a chance.
I love your jewelry and your outfits are adorable!
