The next morning we woke up early for paddle board lessons! I would be lying if I said we weren’t all a bit nervous, but it ended up being a blast. I think we were all sad when it was over. We all did really well (minus my one fall!) and learned a lot from our instructors at Sup Safaris. I cannot wait to go paddle boarding again soon.
Afterwards we hopped on our beach cruisers (our preferred transportation on the island) and grabbed lunch at The Crab Shack, which again, was delicious. I love seafood, so whenever I am at the beach I eat as much of it as I can. Also….sneak peek into blogger life below. This is what our table looks like right when food comes haha! Gotta get that shot, people!
Once lunch was finished we spent the rest of the afternoon riding our bikes, while pretending like we were in the movie Now and Then (anyone remember that?!?), and playing on the beach. What I loved about staying at The Rathershacks was that each “shack” is adjoined by the cutest courtyard filled with tables, cute art on the fence, and gorgeous flowers. It was a great place to hang out with a glass of wine after the beach! We totally took advantage of the area for outfit photos, too (it may look familiar from this post).
On our last night we headed back into Charleston for dinner and drinks at Stars Restaurant followed by dessert at Jeni’s Ice Creams. If I could eat Jeni’s every day, I totally would. But then again, I would weigh about 500 pounds, soon I guess I’m glad there isn’t one near me!
Before we said our goodbyes on Wednesday, L.Mae Boutique hosted us for brunch and shopping in their new pop up boutique. It was great having one last brunch with my ladies and to finally be able to meet the girls behind the boutique that I have worked with for quite some time. And how adorable is their new pop up boutique. I thought it was the cutest idea everrrrr!
P.S. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale started up today for cardholders! Be sure to shop the sale before all of the good items sell out! If you’re not a cardholder, don’t worry- the sale opens up to everyone on July 17th. I’ll be back then rounding up my favorites.
Looks like a lot of fun! Of course anything that includes a beach trip like this is worth a recap!
