Embroidered Smock Shirt

Now that we are nearing the end of July (seriously…this summer has flown by), I am beginning to add transitional pieces into my wardrobe. Having those transitional pieces already part of my wardrobe makes dressing for slightly cooler weather a bit easier when it arrives. This embroidered top from French Connection is one of my favorite transitional pieces I have added so far. The embroidered detail on the dress is impeccable and it is a top that looks great with jeans and would also look great with a leather skirt or shorts. Can you tell I’m beginning to crave fall?!
Speaking of fall, remember this “currently loving” post where I introduced you to the most perfect studded cross body bag? Well, I couldn’t wait until fall to break out this beauty! I got it from Luisaviaroma.com, which offers an amazing selection of designer goods (from clothing and shoes to handbags.) So for now I’ll pair it with my shorts and dresses, but can’t wait for it to be a fall staple cross body bag.
Also, I will be at Bevello in Cameron Village (2023 Cameron St, Raleigh NC) this Saturday July 25th  with the French Connection team and Zelle, Shelby, and Sarah to celebrate Bevello’s 6th birthday!     I love your top and bag! Those definitely are good transitional pieces. I've already started making my fall wish-list and getting a few pieces (thank you Nordstrom sale), but here in Dallas it will be still be a few months before I'll actually get to break out the sweaters and boots sadly.
