Happy Sunday, friends! Last weekend I had the opportunity to host the re-launch of the Young Contemporary department at Belk in Crabtree Valley Mall. This season trends from the 70’s are definitely making a comeback. There was no shortage of flares, fringe, suede, and boho prints and textures.
For the event I wore this lace dress and paired it with these leopard print flats for a little pattern mixing! I loved the lace design and color of this dress and it was so comfortable. I think it will look really cute this fall with booties. I wore flats to this event (which I normally don’t do) but it’s safe to say my feet were happy with the choice!
I always enjoy hosting events and meeting with shoppers and followers. For this event there was a DJ (who was killing’ it with the tunes!), Clinique was providing makeup touch ups, Carmen! Carmen! Salon was giving hair tips & tricks, and lite bites were provided by Rocky Top! The first 25 customers also received a really fun swag bag that included items from Kate Spade, Laura Mercier, and more!
This particular young contemporary department was huge and had a diverse variety of trends! It had everything from preppy trends (like this J.Crew look-a-like vest) to boho/70s vibe pieces (like this shearling vest.) I will definitely be heading to the YC department this fall to stock up on affordable, fall trend items!
