Neutral Tones for Girls Night Out

TGIT, am I right? After the longest, most crazy week ever I am so glad it is Thursday. Normally Thursdays are reserved for watching Scandal on the couch with an Olivia Pope sized glass of wine, but this Thursday I am setting my DVR to record and I am going to hang with some of my favorite girls for a fun Girls Night Out Event with French Connection at Belk
Anytime this group gets together, it’s a good time! I’ll be with the French Connection team, Shelby, Zelle, and Nikki shopping the latest fall looks, dancing to music from the DJ, and sipping some bubbly. Sounds like a fun girl’s night, right? Well stop by- we will be hanging at Belk at Crabtree Valley Mall from 5-9 pm. The best part is there is 20% off, which includes brands like French Connection, Lilly Pulitzer, Free People and Sam Edelman, which are almost never included in sales!
Anyways, on to the outfit…. I love a good comfy sweater and this oversized layered sweater is simply perfect. The ruffle hem gives the illusion of layering, without actually having to! I’m all for effortless outfits, so this sweater was a no-brainer. I kept it simple with a neutral mini bag and booties. P.S. These sunglasses are Prada from Ditto.com They can be rented (along with hundreds of designer sunglasses) for $24/month as part of their Endless Eyewear program. But– you can get one month free with code LIFEWITHEMILY. Awesome, right?

  3. What an adorable sweater! Love the ruffle underlay as opposed to the lace underlay that was everywhere last winter!
