5 Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

This year has seemed to absolutely fly by for me. It’s like one second I was on a cruise celebrating the start of 2015 and suddenly here I am at my desk planning holiday 2015 content! Has this year flown by for anyone else?

With the holidays coming up I will be sharing some fresh new content, including gift guides, home decor decorating ideas, and holiday outfit ideas. Since Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away, it’s time to start thinking about what outfit you will wear. Today I am sharing a few outfits for all of your Thanksgiving festivities! P.S. Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas 2015

#1 This outfit is a “tried and true” outfit for me. I tend to dress pretty casual for Thanksgiving and typically stick with a button up top, jeans, and booties or flats. If it’s a little chilly outside you can throw on a puffer vest with the look. This outfit allows you to look put together, but still remain comfortable. It will even work for playing a little after lunch/dinner football!

#2 This outfit is still pretty casual, but is a bit more dressed up than the previous one. The neutral tones of this outfit are really chic and the plaid scarf adds a little pop of color. The brown riding boots are perfect for this time of year. All of these items will be comfortable throughout the day, no matter what activities you have planned.

#3 If you prefer to be a little bit more dressed up for your Thanksgiving festivities then this outfit is for you! Each piece of this outfit is still really comfortable, so you won’t be adjusting your outfit all day long! The added detail on the pockets of this shirt are just too cute. Throw on a colored bag to bring out the green tones in the shirt and you’re good to go.

#4 If you all are anything like me, I get very sleepy after having a huge meal. Once all of our guests leave (or sometimes while they’re still there!) I am so ready to put on my pajamas and cuddle up on the couch for a bit…and maybe take a snooze. I also love going through the paper and seeing Black Friday preview deals.

#5 Although I am not a big Black Friday shopper (the crowds and the crazy stories scare me!) I have gone out a few times over the years. The first year I wore riding boots, a big jacket, and a big purse… big mistake. With all of the crowds of people and the heat from so.many.people. I was uncomfortable the whole time. After that year I learned my lesson…now I dress for comfort and functionality if I go Black Friday shopping.
