For me, November and December are all about planning for the
upcoming holidays. Those two months seem to fly by, simply because it seems
like I am going non-stop! Between putting together my Christmas décor, planning
blog content, attending holiday parties, and attempting to figure out what to get my friends and family for the
holidays, it seems like I never have time for myself!

like I am going non-stop! Between putting together my Christmas décor, planning

holidays, it seems like I never have time for myself!
While this is the season of giving, it’s really important to
not forget yourself, too. I know that if I’m feeling overwhelmed or stressed
out over the holidays I won’t be in the mood to shop for others or be in the
holiday spirit. So, this year, if you begin
feeling the same way, don’t forget to treat yourself!

To get into the holiday spirit, I stopped by Target last week to grab some Christmas
decorations. Target is a one-stop shop for me.
It’s so easy to pick up my grocery items, a hostess gift for a holiday party
and even stocking-stuffers as we get deeper into
the holiday shopping season. It’s also the perfect place to get yourself a
little “pick-me-up”
treat! I was feeling a little down and
stressed out and decided that it was the perfect
time to treat myself and get out of the “funk” I was in. I ended up grabbing
this cozy sweater, a new nail polish & this snakeskin clutch. Both the
sweater and the clutch can be styled over and over again….and, well, you can
never go wrong with a new nail polish!

For the first look I kept it casual with a pair of black denim and my tried-and-true flats. This outfit is perfect for running errands or grabbing coffee with a friend. For the second look I dressed up this simple turtleneck sweater by pairing it with faux leather leggings and lace up flats, great for a cold date night or grabbing a happy hour drink with friends.
