Casual Weekend Wear

How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was pretty freakin’ perfect! On Friday Nick and I had date night at one of our favorite wine bars, GIA, followed by a lazy Sunday, and productive Sunday. I kept my weekend wear pretty casual; I wanted to be warm and comfortable and that’s exactly what this outfit provided!

I have really been loving the whole “athleisure” trend lately, so I paired my Nike’s with my casual outfit. I also got this jacket last week on super sale and couldn’t be happier with it. It’s comfortable, warm, and is very versatile. I’ve worn it with heels and tennis shoes multiple times already!

    Hi Emily,
How does this jacket fit? Is it true to size?
    Thanks

Hi Jane, it does fit true to size. I normally wear an XS or 00P with their items and I am wearing a 00P in this! I have worn it with heavy sweaters & it still fits well 🙂 hope that helps!

    Hi Emily,

Great outfit! I love the jacket and have actually been thinking about buying it myself. Seeing this post made me decide to go for it! However, I often seem to be a size or two smaller at JCrew (compared with at other stores) — and I’ve never bought a coat from them before, so I’m not sure what size to buy. I know you said this was a 00P, and it looks great on you. Do you mind telling me how tall you are/maybe what size tops you typically buy there? That might help me know which one to get for myself. Thanks so much!
