It’s no secret around here that I am a jewelry lover. Some people (likely Nick and my parents) may even say that I am a bit of a jewelry hoarder! In my mind you can never have enough! As soon as the new Kendra Scott spring collection came out I started obsessing over this statement necklace. The stones in it are absolutely stunning (it comes in 2 other colors!) I knew I needed to add it to my overflowing jewelry collection. Since it came in the mail I have worn it multiple times, but the way it made a statement with my white peplum top may be my favorite yet. I can’t wait to wear it with sundresses once the weather warms up!
P.S. Happy Valentine’s Day weekend! Do any of you have plans with your girlfriends or significant other? I’ve never been really big on celebrating Valentine’s Day, but it is a good excuse to get dressed up and have a date night! Nick and I haven’t really set plans this year (I tried to get him to come to our Bring On the Men Pure Barre class, but no amount of convincing worked haha) – we will probably grab dinner and enjoy each others company- nothing major!

I never liked the whole “boom” that’s going on around every single Valentine’s Day! I love the idea of celebrating love, doing something extra little special for the ones that you love and appreciate to have in your life, but the whole “business” and “must do” side of it is just too silly and takes the point off of the real purpose to something else.
