It’s a little ironic that as I’m writing this there’s a few inches of snow and ice on the ground, right? In any case, it’s making me crave warm spring days even more than I already am! As I’ve told y’all a few posts back, I’ve been getting my spring wardrobe ready and adding pieces to it as I find them. Want to know a few on my list? Button downs for spring (a staple since it’s cool in the morning and warmer throughout the day), lighter wash denim, and a few printed skirts.
I partnered with Draper James, Reese Witherspoon’s clothing line (pinch me!) to share two spring outfits with you! When I originally heard a while back that Reese Witherspoon, a long time favorite of mine, was starting her own line I was absolutely thrilled and couldn’t wait to check it out. I really loved her aesthetic and how she produces a lot of classic pieces, but also adds in a few on-trend pieces as well!
For today’s post, I styled two different button downs in two different ways. For the first look, I went fairly girly. I paired the swiss dot scallop shirt with the pleated jacquard midi skirt. To give it my own little twist, I tied the button down to make it a little more form fitting- which is also a great way to style any button down. For the second look I styled the striped scallop button down in a more classic way with jeans and neutral accessories. I really love print mixing, so I added my leopard heels to the look to make it a little more fun! It would also look really cute with flats, too!

I’m obsessed with Draper James! They even featured our little one on their Instagram account not too long ago. These button downs are perfect, I love how you ties the white one vs just tucking it in with the skirt. The scallop details are so adorable too.

I love the spin you put on these items. A tied button down always makes me think of summer, which I need a reminder of since it’s still snowing at home! xx celebratingthislife.ca
Obsessed with the scallop details on those button downs! Gorg!

LOVE how simple the second look is, but how great it still looks. All classic pieces come together to make a casual yet dressed up look!

Love Reese’s line! I totally LOVE the scalloped detail on these tops, so chic but add its little extra interest to the tops!
