This post is sponsored by thinkThin®, but all thoughts are my own.
When it’s cold out, I have absolutely no desire to go outside. I sometimes have to force myself out of the house to even go to the grocery store when it’s cold! (I can’t decide if I’m being lazy or really do just despise the cold that much!!) Anyways, when it’s cold I find myself spending many of my weekends inside where it’s nice and warm!
My weekend (not-so-guilty) pleasures include binge-watching Netflix, staying in my PJs, reading a good book, and snacking! I’m currently watching “Parenthood,” and I cannot believe I didn’t watch it when it was originally on. I am completely obsessed, and I find myself crying every time I watch it. (I’m emotionally invested… what can I say? haha!)
Anytime I’m home binge-watching Netflix or curled up with a good book (currently reading “The Good Girl“…sooo good!), I want to snack. When it comes to snacking, I’m a sweet-and-salty combo kinda girl, which isn’t always good because I end up snacking way too much and on things that are not good for me! Lately,, I’ve tried to get better about this and I’ve been trying to limit my snacking. I’ve taken to snacking on thinkThin® bars— they’re high in protein, gluten free, and come in a few delicious flavors. These help to cure my hunger, as well as curbing my “bad” snacking habit! I’ve also been taking one of these bars to eat between teaching Pure Barre classes! No more candy and chips for me!
Also, Charlie’s guilt pleasure is bugging me non-stop! He is one of the neediest cats I have ever come across. He constantly wants cuddles, to rub up on everything that I put down, and loves to watch TV with me haha. But I’m not complaining one bit… he’s the cutest little thing! Hard to believe I’ve had him for three years!

I would love to hear what your weekend (not so guilty) pleasures are in the comments below! Also if you have any book suggestions, send them my way!
Protein helps fuel a full, energetic life. And good nutrition should always be delicious. That’s why thinkThin® products are packed with protein and come in a variety of decadent flavors.
I tend to stay indoors when it’s blizzarding out. I like reading a book, listening to podcasts, or surfing the net. My book recommendation is Tales from Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan and The Hero’s Walk by Anita Rau Badami. The latter has been nominated for Canada Read (a “battle of the books” competition). Cheers!
I am looking for some recommendations too, because I am a massive snack lover!

I love Think Thin bars! Some of my favorite protein bars ever. And Parenthood is probably the best show ever. Love it so much! xo
Oh, I’ve never heard of thinkThin, thanks for the recommendation! With two growing boys in the house I try to always keep a good stock of protein bars for them. Helps them get through the school day without snacking on “bad” snacks and it doesn’t spoil their dinner!
I’ll have to check out The Good Girl. I read The Girl on the Train last summer and loved it! xx celebratingthislife.ca
I think our cats may be long lost twins! What a cute guy!
