Happy Monday, everyone! Today I’m finally sharing a tour of my bedroom! Back at the beginning of the year I decided it was time to give my bedroom a bit of a refresh. I had been living in my apartment for almost two years and still had the furniture I had refinished before I moved into my very first apartment after college. Needless to say that furniture was on it’s last leg haha!
When I began brainstorming my bedroom refresh I knew I wanted it to be a space that I was proud of and that I felt “at home” in. I decided to keep everything pretty neutral and add in pops of color here and there. I have really loved the combination of grey tones and gold, so I decided to make those the main elements of my bedroom. Now when I come home every day I am excited to be in my bedroom and it feels like peaceful space where I can be fully relaxed. Click through to see full details on my space!
I went with all white bedding from Crane & Canopy. At first I was extremely against having all white bedding because I am a bit clumsy and I have a black tuxedo cat who sheds a little. After going back and forth about what color/print I wanted, I decided white was the best option. Good thing there’s bleach haha! Oh and I am definitely a quilt person! I can’t stand having to deal with duvets haha. I went with this white cloud quilt and ruched euro shams. I added in a pop of color with these blue pillows from Lulu & Georgia. They have an amazing selection of pillows, but this color and the pom pom details had me sold!
I purchased my dresser and nightstands from Wayfair and then worked with them on finished up my room with my panel bed and accent chair. Both of these pieces totally transformed the room and made everything come together nicely! I am so impressed with the quality of the pieces I got from there. Everything was very easy to assemble (luckily Nick was able to help, too!) and the directions were easy to follow.
As for the nightstands, I like everything to be symmetrical, so I chose to have everything match on both sides. The glass mosaic and colors in these frames are beautiful in person (they also come in pink). I took to snapchat to have my followers help me with which art prints to choose. It was a toss up between this one and this one, but ultimately went with the one that had more colors, in case I wanted to change things up with accent pillows, etc. in the future. When I saw these brass task lamps I was immediately smitten! They matched with the other brass/gold elements in the room, so it was a no brainer!
This chair is one of my favorite pieces in my house. I enjoy my morning coffee in this chair while getting ready and reading over emails. It also serves as a place for outfit planning or clean laundry (just being honest haha!) Dingo and Charlie seem to really like the chair as well 😉
I love having most of my jewelry pieces on display, especially the ones I wear daily. I picked up this tiered jewelry holder at Home Goods. I love these gold mirrored jewelry holders for holding rings and earrings. They make great decor pieces and allow my jewelry to be easily accessible.
