I feel like Sephora is a lot like Target in the sense that you go in with a list of things you need and come out with nothing from your list and 10 things you didn’t know you needed! I know you all are probably shaking your heads yes, because it’s so true! Anyways, this happened to me last week at Sephora, so I thought I would share my buys with you! It’s been a while since my last post on my recent beauty buys, so let’s get started. I’ve broken my recent beauty buys up into two categories: items I re-purchased & items I’m trying for the first time. Click through to read about each product!
ITEMS I RE-PURCHASED FROM SEPHORA
I went in with two items on my list that I was searching for, but while I was there I realized I was running low on a few “must-have” items. These are items I use on an almost daily basis, so I always like to stock up on them before I run out of them!FIRST AID BEAUTY ULTRA REPAIR CREAM | This is one of my favorite moisturizers, especially once the weather starts cooling down. I get dry skin spots on my face in the cooler months, so I always use this to keep my face hydrated. It’s a thick formula (you don’t have to use a lot), but it works wonders. The best part is that it’s not only meant for your skin- you can use it on dry hands, arms, legs, etc! I really love their entire line (especially their face wash).
IT COSMETICS YOUR SKIN BUT BETTER CC CREAM | I discovered this product a little over a year ago & I’ve been hooked ever since. This is the perfect makeup for “every day” wear… I wear it a lot during the work week for a fresh faced look. It’s SPF 50, so it’s protecting your skin while also giving you a bit of coverage.
BECCA SKIN PERFECTOR HIGHLIGHTER POWDER | This highlighter has been a total game changer for me! This product gives that all over glow that every girl wants! I don’t contour (I get way too overwhelmed/confused by that) so this gives a bit of definition to my cheeks.
ITEMS I’M TRYING FOR THE FIRST TIME
I’m one of those girls who loves makeup…a lot, but I don’t necessarily try a lot of brands all the time. One brand that I haven’t experimented a lot with is NARS. I have used their blush and tried out their lipsticks, but I haven’t gone much further than that.
I went into Sephora to find a new medium-full coverage foundation. I have quite a few freckles and sun spots I like to cover on my face. I was almost out of my old foundation, so I wanted to try a new brand to get better coverage. After being matched, they tried out Too Faced and NARS foundations on me. I ended up liking the NARS foundation best (I’m wearing Gobi ). I purchased the concealer because I wasn’t overly satisfied with the one I was using. I walked out with NARS loose setting powder, too!
