I think fall is finally deciding to stick around here and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I fully transitioned my closet to my fall items over the weekend and it’s safe to say I am ready to break out all of my favorite scarves, sweaters, jackets, and boots! Ok, I admit, I may be getting a bit ahead of myself but I love dressing for fall. Today I’m sharing two pre-fall looks, all centered around this textured stand-collar jacket from Talbots. What I love most about Talbots is how versatile their clothing is…. almost every piece I own from there can be worn for multiple occasions and dress codes! This jacket is perfect for those “in-between” temperatures a lot of states are experiencing right now. It’s light enough that you can wear it without sweating throughout the day, but it will keep you warm once the sun goes down, too! Click through to see details on both looks!

LOOK ONE | STRIPED SWEATER & DRIVING FLATS
There’s nothing better than finding a sweater that can go with everything…literally! I love this multi-stripe sweater because it’s still a neutral, but the pops of colors in the stripes make it very versatile. It could be worn to work with a pair of colored cropped pants or more casually, like I have styled it below. Pairing it with the jacket really brings out the navy in the sweater. And let’s not forget the shoes. The pointed toe driving flats are a great closet staple that are sure to get a lot of wear this season. I have worn these a few times now and they are incredibly comfortable! Oh and they come in eleven colors, too!

LOOK TWO | FLORAL POPOVER & BUCKLE HEELS
For the second look I kept many of the same elements, including the jacket, denim, and cross body bag but changed the top and shoes. I opted for this floral popover top (I tucked the front in) and these chic buckle heels. The floral top is a bit more dressy and would look cute for girl’s night out or in the office! The heels are different than any others I own and I’m excited to wear them with sweaters and other outfits this fall!
