Summer weather has officially arrived in North Carolina, so I have been breaking out some new summer pieces recently! At the start of each season I like to stop up on a few essentials and this year I partnered with Zappos to get a head start on my summer shopping!
I always try to make a list of the items my closet needs and then plan my purchases around that list. The first item on my list this year was a new pair of shorts. One of my favorite items to wear in the summer are denim shorts. BlankNYC carries some of my favorites and year after year I buy a new pair to add to my (ever-growing) collection!
Next up: a good white tank! This is a closet essential for me no matter what season, but especially during the summer months. I have been wearing this white tank from Alternative Apparel and I can’t get enough of it. It looks cute alone or layered up, like I styled it with this printed bomber jacket! I bought this jacket because I fell in love with the print, but it will also come in handy because I’m always freezing in shops and restaurants!
And I’m a total shoe lover, so I always grab a cute pair of neutral shoes that can go with everything, this these strappy sandals from Sam Edelman!
