I’m a bit of a beauty junkie and I absolutely love trying out new products! And while I love to try out products, not all of them pass the “test” and get added to my daily routine. For the past two years I have done a Best of Beauty post (you can see 2015 here and 2016 here) and I always love sharing my favorite products with you all each year! Some products in this year’s round up have been favorites of mine for years & others I discovered this year and have made part of my daily routine.

All of these products are ones I have purchased myself and have remained tried-and-true products throughout the year. Each of these I highly recommend & each are products I re-buy because they are that good. So let’s get started!

PRIMER | I’ve used this primer for quite a while & I love the way it makes my skin feel and how well it makes my makeup stay. I haven’t found anything that I like using better.

FOUNDATION | I have raved about this foundation a few times, so it was sure to make the list! The L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation is one of my favorites because it’s inexpensive (under $13!) and the coverage is amazing. I have tried so many expensive foundations this year and they all lacked, especially when it compared to this! If you’re searching for a matte formula, there’s also a L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation, which also works wonders. I use #201 OR #202 for the pro-glow and #103 for the matte (depending on the time of year).

CONCEALER | For the longest time I tried different concealers and never found one I really liked… until I finally tried Tarte’s Shape Tape. It has great coverage and it never creases under my eyes. The best part is that it takes a minuscule amount, so it lasts a long time.

EYESHADOW PALETTE | This is another product I’ve featured a few times this year, and with good reason! This eyeshadow palette is my absolute favorite because all of the shades are wearable and the pigment of the colors is great.

EYELINER | I found this eyeliner randomly and I’m so glad I did because it might just be my favorite drugstore purchase of the year. I use the NYX To the Point eyeliner in ‘hella fine’ or ‘put a wing on it.’ It’s only $10 and it’s comparable to Stila’s Stay All Day eyeliner. A few of my friends have used it & can’t believe how good it is!

POWDER | I received this in a press package early in 2017 and after trying it while on vacation I added it to my daily routine. This powder eliminates pores and makes my skin look flawless.

LOOSE SETTING POWDER | This loose setting powder is a game changer! It helps extend my makeup, makes my skin look flawless, and gives an amazing light-reflecting glow.

BLUSH | Becca is one of my favorite brands, so when I tried their blush a few years ago I immediately loved it. The colors are gorgeous and the pigment is so good (without being over the top). My favorite colors are ballerina pink & foxglove orchid. It also had the best glow.

BRONZER & CONTOUR PALETTE | I’ll admit, I’m not a contour guru by any means, but this palette by Tarte makes it so much easier. I love the bronzer and there’s so many good highlighters in it, too. It’s a great palette to use when traveling.

HIGHLIGHTER | This is the holy grail when it comes to highlighter. The Becca Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter gives the absolute best glow. A little goes a long way- so it lasts a loonnng time!

MASCARA PRIMER | I swear by this mascara primer!! It makes a huge difference in how long & thick my lashes look once I use mascara.

EYEBROW DUO | The Anastasia Brow Duo is what I’ve used for most of the year and I really, really like it. This gives a really natural looks brow.

MASCARA(S) | Mascara is one of my favorite makeup products and I love trying new ones. The Chanel mascara is great if you don’t mind spending a little bit on mascara. It doesn’t take a lot and it makes my lashes look great. For a drug store brand I really like the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara.

LIP BALM(S) | I’m that girl that ALWAYS has chapstick or lip balm in my bag, on my nightstand & in my car. I can’t go without it! My favorites of the year are Supergoop’s Acai Fusion Lip Balm & Fresh’s Advanced Therapy Balm. The Supergoop lip balm lasts so long and has SPF in it that protects from both the sun in the summer and the wind in the winter. The Fresh lip balm feels so smooth and thin on your lips. Both of them instantly make your lips feel so hydrated and smooth!

LIPSTICK | MAC lipsticks are always a tried-and-true favorite. My current go-to colors are Creme Cup, Pink Plaid, and Mehr.

MAKEUP BRUSHES | It Cosmetics brushes are my all time favorite. They are high quality, last for so long & are so soft on my skin.

BRUSH CLEANER | I got this brusher cleaner last year & it’s been the BEST for cleaning my brushes. It comes in a mitt version as well, but I prefer this one because it can stick to the sink while you’re cleaning. I use this cleanser to clean all of my brushes.

FACE WASH | I have used this cleanser for a few years now and I still really love it. I have sensitive skin and have found this brand works best on my skin. I use this morning & night and it also does a great job of taking off makeup.

SELF TANNER | As a very fair-skinned girl it’s hard for me to find a good self tanner that doesn’t leave me looking orange or streaky. This year I discovered this self tanner (thanks to one of my best friends!) and it’s been AMAZING. It gives a gorgeous color and has never left any streaks. I use this mitt to apply it so that my hands aren’t left dark or streaky.

HAIR DRYER | I got the T3 Featherweight Hairdryer this year and it’s been a game changer. It dries my hair so fast and makes it feel so soft & shiny. I have it in the travel version as well.

HAIR TIES | I bought these hair ties on a whim earlier this year and they’re fantastic. They come in a lot of different colors & don’t leave a crease in my hair at all.

MAKEUP REMOVER | I really love this product when traveling because it does a great job of taking my makeup off & it leaves my skin feeling wonderful. All you have to do is put this on your face and use a warm, wet washcloth to remove your makeup. It basically melts your makeup off…It’s seriously so cool!

FACE MASK | I try to do a face mask at least once or twice a month. I tried this mask last winter and I have used it so often since. It makes my skin feel so smooth and refreshed.

SHOWER OIL | This is so, so good. Not only does this shower oil smell amazing, it leaves my skin feeling smooth too. I use this to shave my legs and it works so well!

MOISTURIZER | Similar to the oil above, this moisturizer does a great job of hydrating my skin.

GEL FACE MOISTURIZER | Even though I don’t have super dry skin, I swear by this stuff! I always slather it on at night so that it can really absorb into my skin overnight!

CURLING IRON (AND WAND) | I have stick straight hair and I have always had the hardest time finding something that will hold curl. After using this want for over a year, I 100% swear by the T3 Convertible Curling Wand. I alternator using the 1 inch barrel and the 1 inch curling iron attachment.

SUNSCREEN | I partnered with Supergoop! two summers ago and I have been so loyal to the brand ever since. I used to think all sunscreens were made equal, but that couldn’t be further from the truth! Supergoop! sunscreen is made with healthy ingredients and delivers the most advanced protection. I wear their sunscreen every single day. I love the mousse because it doesn’t make me feel greasy and it’s so easy to put on.

BODY WASH | Dove has always been a go-to soap brand of mine, due to my sensitive skin. When they came out with their new foam body wash, I immediately scooped it up from my local Target. I love the foaming aspect of it & it always makes my skin feel so clean and hydrated (not sticky or tight!)

BUBBLEBATH | I love taking baths, it’s a guilty pleasure of mine. And a bath isn’t complete without bubblebath, right?! The smell of this bubblebath is SO relaxing.

HAIR STRAIGHTENER | I’m a tried-and-true T3 fan, so obviously I love their straightener too! I like that it doesn’t fry my hair and that it leaves it looking so silly and smooth.

I would love to hear what some of your favorite products are in the comments below! XO

  • 24 weeks with our baby boy🤰🏼💙 it’s crazy to think we get to meet him in just 16 weeks, it feels like this pregnancy has flown by! 👶🏻I feel grateful that I have had a healthy & happy pregnancy but, to be honest, the last few weeks have been a whirlwind of emotions. As a first time mom, I have these feelings of immense sadness as the last half of this pregnancy is going to be nothing like I had envisioned. There have been a lot of tears over the fact that many exciting moments can no longer be shared with those closest to us. I know others have it much, much worse but I’ve learned it’s ok to be sad & to feel these emotions. I’m upset that I am no longer able to have a baby shower to celebrate our first born, I’m sad I don’t get to hug our family and watch their faces as they see my growing bump. I’m upset that these last few months of just the two of us look completely different - more time spent in our house quarantined and less time having date nights at our favorite spots and doing the things we want before baby arrives. I mourn the fact that our families may not get to meet our baby boy in the hospital the way we always talked about. But with any situation, I have cried it out (a lot) and decided to take it one day at a time and to find joy in each day💙 And ya know what? There’s a lot of joy amidst the chaos. It brings me so much joy to feel his daily movement (and my heart nearly burst when Nick felt him kick for the first time).🥰I am overjoyed that we have such a strong support system near and far. I love that we get to spend more time at home spoiling our fur babies. I find solace knowing that there are so many pregnant mamas out there feeling these exact emotions & we share a common experience and bond! I am grateful for those that are on the front lines caring for everyone. I know we have the best doctors carrying us through this uncertain time. We are strong mamas and we will get through this! 💕 so, I challenge you to find the join in each day no matter your situation! #24weekspregnant #24weeks #pregnancy #2ndtrimester #stylethebump #bumpstyle #pregnant #pregnantduringcovid19 #pregnantblogger #thebump #boymom #expecting #expectingmom

• Getting to check on our baby boy👶🏻& hear his heartbeat today!
