As I’ve been buying items for spring, I’ve tried to be intentional about what I buy. I tend to gravitate towards simple classic pieces vs. trendy pieces anyways, but I like to make sure that when I buy something I will get a lot of wear out of it. I always ask myself “can I wear this item on at least 3 separate occasions?” and if the answer is yes, then I consider it! If not, then I tend to pass on it (of course there are exceptions to this.)
One item I’m really glad I picked up for spring is this classic white button down top. For me, this is a closet staple because it can be worn so many ways. Y’all know I go for more casual outfits, but this top could easily be dressed up. I’m looking forward to wearing it at the beach with denim shorts or even as a coverup! I also ordered the “it” bag of the season from Clare V. It’s such a cute crossbody bag that I know will get a lot of wear once the weather warms up. And of course I can’t go without talking about my favorite tassel earrings. I got my first pair of these last year and since I have grown my collection. They’re super lightweight and they colors they offer are gorgeous. I even wore the white ones for my rehearsal dinner!
