Sharing my recent beauty buys with y’all today! I’m also reviewing each and every item.
I’m a self-proclaimed beauty junkie. I get a thrill whenever I go into Sephora or Ulta and pick up a few things to try out. I’m constantly searching for the best of the best (and hoping it’s a good price point, too!) Over the past few months I have tried a lot of different beauty products, so today I wanted to share those with you and provide a review of each one! I would love to hear your go-to beauty products in the comments!MARC JACOBS SHAMELESS FOUNDATION | Marc Jacobs Beauty just came out with a new foundation called Shameless. It’s a long wear medium-coverage foundation and it comes in over 30 shades. Their PR team reached out to me and sent me a few shades to try and I’ve been using it recently. For reference I was sent Fair-Y110 (yellow undertones), Y-130, and Y-210. I’m currently using Y110 since I’m not as tan as I usually am. The formula itself is super lightweight, which I appreciate and it blends really well. Because I have fair, uneven skin I typically prefer a more full-coverage foundation, but this one will be great for vacations or anytime I want a “no makeup-makeup” look!
LAURA MERCIER TRANSLUCENT LOOSE SETTING POWDER | I had been using the NARS loose setting powder, but I couldn’t stand the smell (as weird as that sounds!) After so many people suggested trying the Laura Mercier, I gave the translucent loose setting powder a try and I really like it so far. I’ve been using it for about a month and I don’t have any complaints. It’s done a great job of setting my makeup and giving my face a flawless look and since I am in photos often I like that it doesn’t have any flash-back.
URBAN DECAY VICE LIPSTICK | I have never been a big lipstick person, especially when it comes to bright colors. I tend to gravitate more towards blush and lighter colored lipsticks and I have finally found a few that I love. I’ve been using these lipsticks for a few weeks and the colors are gorgeous. They don’t dry out my lips and they last quite a while. The pigment is good in these lipsticks without being TOO pigmented. My favorites are Naked, Backtalk, and Gubby. I shared swatches of them below 🙂
KRISTEN ESS TEXTURIZING SPRAY | My friend Jess turned me on to this brand and I’m so thankful she did! I could never find a texture spray that I liked (and that didn’t smell terrible!) This one is affordable, you can grab it at Target, and it works wonders.I always use this to finish off my hair when I curl it, and anytime I want a more lived-in look with my ponytail. I even use it on my clean, straight hair for a bit of texture and grip since I have such thin, fine hair.
SUPERGOOP UNSEEN SUNSCREEN | It’s no secret around here that I am a HUGE fan of Supergoop. I was first introduced to them three years ago at a conference and later had the opportunity to work together. Ever since then I have been a loyal Supergoop user and that’s the only sunscreen I will use now (this is my favorite sunscreen to use!). They recently came out with Unseen Sunscreen, so I knew I had to give it a try. I use it as a primer (because it grips to your makeup) and I use it as a daily SPF on my face. The ingredients are clean and their products truly work so well.

NYX THAT’S THE POINT LIQUID EYELINER | For a long time I was buying the Stila Stay All Day eyeliner. Abut a year ago I was out and ran to Ulta only to find out it was out of stock. I quickly grabbed this NYX eyeliner and I haven’t looked back ever since. It’s so affordable and I like it better than the Stila eyeliner. I had a friend use it on a trip and she couldn’t believe how amazing it was for the price.
MARC JACOBS VELVET NOIR VOLUME MASCARA | If there’s one makeup product that I love trying it’s mascara! I am a sucker for mascara and I like that it’s an easy product to try (you don’t really have to worry about breakouts, etc. like other makeups) This mascara is my favorite that I’ve used in a long time. It provides so much volume to my lashes, even with only one coat. I have been using this daily since I got it and I have received so many compliments on my lashes!
That’s it for today! I hope you all enjoyed this post! Let me know if you have any questions and leave your favorite beauty products in the comments. xx
Kristin Ess products are the best and smell so good! So I have that setting powder and I honestly have no idea what to do with it…
I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try the Kristen Ess products! They’re so great. And I use the setting powder after I apply my foundation/concealer to “set” it and give it a more matte look. I know people also use it as their last product to set all of their makeup, but I prefer how I do it! 🙂 Personal preference!
I have the dry shampoo and thickening Kristin Ess products and I really like them. I’ve been interested in the texturizing spray so I’m glad to hear you like it!
I’m excited to try the Marc Jacobs foundation and thanks for the tips on the NYX liquid eyeliner! I usually don’t like to spend a lot of money on eyeliners.

I love that Ulta has their 21 days of beauty right now and I get to try out so many good new items! These are all fabulous picks and brands!
That Laura Mercier setting powder is my go to! I love that Marc Jacobs mascara too, it’s so perfect for no makeup days!
The pink earrings are cute! I have them in mint green!
Love this roundup!! I’ve been meaning to try Supergoop, and will have to get some now that it’s getting warmer 🙂 Also, where is that ADORABLE tray from!?
