Spring is officially here which means wedding season is upon us! My calendar is already filling up with weddings this season and while it’s such an exciting time, it can also be a little stressful and overwhelming when trying to figure out what to wear. I have a few go-tos for fall weddings, but spring weather can be a little more tricky since the weather can vary. While fall and winter weddings tend to be little black dress approved, it feels a little odd to break out a LBD for a spring wedding.
A few things I gravitate towards in the spring: florals and pastels. When outfit planning for spring weddings, I decided to keep those two things in mind. For one wedding I picked up this pastel blue ruffle back dress from Bevello in Cameron Village. It’s gorgeous, conservative, and has a fun ruffle detail. I always try to keep my jewelry pretty minimal for weddings, so I went with these dainty necklaces from Moon & Lola and a chic pair of hoops. Moon & Lola has been a favorite of mine for years. Not only do they have such fun, personalized accessories, their stores are always gorgeous and have such a feminine feel.

I used to have an almost identical dress in red, and now you’re making me wish I never got rid of it! It’s such a pretty style, with the ruffles fluttering down the back! This color is ideal for springtime though, and it looks beautiful on you! Definitely perfect for a wedding!
