My 101 in 1001 list

A few years ago I came across Mackenzie’s 101 in 1001 blog post and was so intrigued by it. If you’re not familiar with 101 in 1001 lists, the premise is to create a list of 101 items and complete them in 1001 days, roughly 2.75 years. I like to think of the list as a mix of those “to-do” list items that you’ve never gotten to mixed with “big picture” goals you have in mind for yourself! After seeing her list, it really sparked something in me & motivated me to create one myself. I started one a few years ago, but honestly didn’t do a great job of keeping up with it.

I had been thinking about starting another 101 in 1001 list and I figured there was no time like the present! This time when I was creating my list of 101 things I decided to break them down into different categories (personal, business, travel, family/friends/relationships & just for fun). This helped me categorize and brainstorm what I wanted on my list.

I’m looking forward to crossing items off of my list, making progress towards my goals and hopefully holding myself more accountable with it this go around haha! My plan is to do updates from time to time about my progress. If you decide to create a list, I would love to see it!

starts: June 10, 2019
ends: March 7, 2022

I truly love this concept and this list! You really thought long and hard about your 101, I can tell. I want to do this for myself now!

  5. I’ve never heard about this list before. I really like the idea!! Number 9 is one that I definitely going to add to my list. It’s such a nice thing to do (paying for someone’s order in the coffee shop). I bet that it’s making that person’s day a good one.

This is such a great idea! I love your take on breaking it down into categories, making them more manageable instead of one big singular list. Can’t wait to follow your progress.

  7. I love reading other people’s lists! I started my first 101 in 1001 at the beginning of 2018, and I’m already scheming what’s going to be on my next one, ha ha! (Of course, I have to finish the items on THIS one first!) Thanks for sharing!
